We as organizers want Immersion to be a cozy and safe place for everyone, so we have a few community guidelines to help us all be on the same page about what kind of a festival we are creating together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IMMERSION FESTIVAL COMMUNITY GUIDELINES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Be nice to each other<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please actively include your fellow participants.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please find a common language that everyone in the group understands.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please actively include people coming into the situation by filling them in on the topic of the conversation and introducing people to each other.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Take care of and respect each other<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Harassment or discrimination are not part of Immersion. This means e.g., sexual harassment, violence, sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or ableism are not tolerated.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please don&#8217;t make assumptions on a person\u2019s health status, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, etc based on their looks.<br>Instead, let them tell you, as people themselves know best who they are.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please don&#8217;t assume someone wants to talk about their health status, sexual or gender identity, ethnicity, body shape, the terrible thing that is happening in their country, etc, even if their experience would be unusual and interesting to you.<br>Instead, let people decide the level of intensity and detail at which they discuss their experience, especially around minority or other sensitive topics.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please be aware of and respect each other&#8217;s boundaries.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please support each other, check in on people who look like they&#8217;re not well, and ask for help when needed.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you \ud83e\udde1<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Immersion Larp Festival is only as great as we as its participants make it.
